Luckily they went to bed pretty easily tonight - but they were tired after their 5am practise run this morning!!!!!

My 11, 8, 5yr olds are still asleep, I'm up and dressed waiting for them! Think I'll give them another 15 min!!! ;D

Kids up at 6 but got told can't open till 7. At the stroke of 7 "can we open now?" of course they found the fastest clock in the house.
I can still remember running to my parents room with the Christmas booty eager to show them what we got from Santa and the surprised looks my parents use to have. These days it is my turn and I just sit back and smile while watching the looks on the faces of the kids as they open their presents.
It will be gone all too soon.
Number 1 son's (11) face lit up when he opened his leatherman and Number 1 daughter (10) was just going "oh wow I got a..... and Oh wow I got a....."
Anyway time to wish every one a great Christmas day.
Regards

Well not the result i expected. Youngest that sort of NOW believes in santa i think was on the verge of full on bawling "I told him i wanted a castle" "see i told you hes a load of rubbish" the eldest said with a look of sucess on his face. Any how have a great christmas, thoughts go out to the little community of about 200 who is in the line of TC Grant.

6.30 am here, 3 1/2 and 7 year old girls dragged us out of bed. The little little one couldn't believe what messy eaters the raindeer were, they left bits of carrot (Grated) all over the back yard. Santa made a mess of his meal too! The big one just glad their was no raindeer poo anywhere.

My parents told us this version of about how Santa gets it SO WRONG (and we've never sat on his lap and spoke with him directly mind you) ... He's from the NorthPole ... did you write to him in English or NorthPolish? English!?! Well how did you expect him to get it right? We learned NEVER to COMPLAIN about the socks and clothes ... as we couldn't find a NorthPolish Dictionary at the local library ... and we did look ... even asked the nice librarian who said they didn't have that one sorry, that we should probably try the big library in BrisVegas.
And for required Construction ... Well Santa was SO BUSY delivering presents around the whole entire world, not missing one of the Zillions of Kiddies ... he left us a note that Dad & Mum would help him out with the construction sometime between breakfast and lunch ... and funny enough Santa left that message on many occassions ...
I'm guessing some parents are just more creative than others ... ???

Reminds me of a Kevin Bloody Wilson song 'hey santa claus'

All those stories ring a bell haha! Our two 9 year olds were at our bed at 6am asking to go out to the loungeroom but had to wait half an hr for the 4 year old to wake up. Not happy campers!!

Our youngst got an overpriced talking doll, after she feed it and it pooed all over the pool table she decided to take it for a swim......there were tears for hours after she worked out electrics and water dont mix....managed to dry it out and its found its voice again....it was so peaceful there for a while.
