Title: Good places to eat
Post by: Pipeliner on December 15, 2011, 06:15:55 PM
Apologies if a similar thread exists, but thought I'd start a Good Food guide after having great lunch today at The Purple Fig Cafe in Echuca, Victoria.  I had the risotto, SWMBO had the chicken burger (real chicken breast, not manufactured), and MIL had a steak sandwich which had to be seen to be believed.  Great chips too, and with a soft drink each was $50 for the three of us.  Highly recommended.  New owners, been there 12 weeks and on the way to build a successful business.

Paragon Cafe at Goulburn  :cup:

Can use it like a fish n chup shop, or a resturant - lunch or tea, they cater for all.
The waitress's go out of their way to oblige you & make you comfortable. If they're not busy when you walk in, they pounce :)
Reasonable prices & clean. Most important point though...the food is top notch taste
