Hi All
I have issues with my CF-110 Waeco fridge. The temperature on the readout was 47deg when I turned it on today but the actual temperature in the fridge was probably only about 20deg. I ran it till it would have been about 5deg but the readout was still reading 45deg. Any ideas?

Thermistor gone needs replacing

Is that something I can replace or does it need to be done by an agent? Any idea of price?

There was a thread here where somebody did it themself. I believe it is epoxied between the fridge lining and insulation, typically a service agent job. They're pretty good at it as it happens often my CF50 included.

I just had the thermistor replaced in my CF25, two years ago same thing in a CF40. paid $140.00 for the privilege

Might not be expensive. My 110 lt (old version) had a spare THERMISTOR built in. Check to see if it has a spare and if so just swing the two wires over and presto.. fixed mine for nought...
Grrr!!! >:D >:D

Yeh it's already been done in the past.

Had ours replaced on the 60 ltr recently. I think it is the weakest link in the fridge and should be replaced with a much more robust type of thermister. Next time I will replace the bit myself as it is not very dear to purchase, labour is the killer.

The temp sender also come loose and falls off their mount and settle at the bottom of the fridge which then gives a wrong reading as it's close to say the compressor. It is Epoxied on and the vibration can make it come loose. So even though the inside is down to temp the sender thinks it still 40 odd degrees.
that's another reason I've seen
