Title: probably for the real estate nuts out there, Melbourne 10 k from Kilsyth
Post by: GLC on November 23, 2011, 05:39:12 PM
Had enough of the current dump I train from, it is an ex child care centre and just doesnt make the grade:( So looking for a factory fitted out with office/training facilities or an office fitted out with storage? about 300 to 500 square total more office than factory, Requirements are that the training facility should have at least 10 double power points to operate the computers and mannequins, it must be at least 5 wide by 8 deep think of 10 people collapsed on the floor with 16 people working to revive them sort of space, the training room must be separate from the walkway going to the toilets (at least 2 + urinal) etc, ideally have a kitchen so I can continue to prepare meals for participants and if it isnt too much problem about 16 car parking spots or easy access to them.  An education overlay would be great as well as it will save me a few thousand in arguing with council.

I am getting to my wits end on this, but figure there may be a person who knows someone who knows someone that might know the owner of the perfect place:)

well we lease the facilities so we need 24/7 access, but most of the training is done M-F with the occasional W/E work and after hours courses being run over two days per week for 4 weeks out of the month.

Hey GLC,

I will have a chat to a commercial agent I know in Melbourne tomorrow if you like. He may then on refer me to someone who is more knowledgable about the suburb and style of property you are looking for.  Yes I am a Real Estate nut...................

Cheers

Thanks Nomad:) have only 3 properties in 8 months I thought were worthwhile pursuing, 1 was perfect missed it by 2 days. 2 storey, downstairs corporate training room, upstairs all the facilities I need, darn the ones that get away:(
there is only 1 more on my short list but it misses a few key points that mean I will be forking out close to 70 to keep doing everything I currently do, and as much as I like to think I can, that is getting a little towards the top end of my budget.
