I will start, When you have an issue or problem you know you can come here to get the right answers, and even if your thread turns into a turkey shot it's still fun :cup:
-
Darren's charm and wit ;D
-
Speewas spelling & logic.
-
Oh I have another one, Lost for his kind words
-
I like the fact we all love camping!
Cheers

Most users shoot from the hip.
Most users don't take offense at silly little mistakes. Spelling, bad Grammer and the likes, :-[
And most Swaggers are like minded about how the world turns and we are all here to have a good time, as well as share our stories about our love of Camping and Traveling.
-
Being able to get ideas that I normally wouldn't have thought of on my own
Being able to get facts without having to go to someone with an agenda, & potentially paying them a fortune for something that in reality, could just as easily be done cheaper :cup:
-
The lack of ego's, you can ask a question and get a straight answer, not lectured about why you should do this or why you shouldn't do that and cop the "I'm so much better than you" crap you get on some other well known forums.

>:D
x2... and I know nothing about said chargers. Go figure.

I love the fact that you can ask a truely stupid question ... and no one thinks it's stupid.
Also that we have so much in common ... a vehicle ... a camper ... a love of modification ... a need for the Great Outdoors.
What I love the most?
The wit, the humour, the great deals, the sharing, the caring, the helpful advise, the not so helpful advise, the argueing in electrical, the campers, the People, the photographs (especially those), the comraderie, the fact work hasn't "fun policed" the web address!

Its the plain old fashioned " HONESTY" that sets this apart and I mean that in all its meanings ..

Grandad taught me there's no such thing as a stupid question...
Just stupid people. (Not you though Kit_e) ;D

Trip Reports :cup: Don't hold back on the trip reports people it doesn't have to be all singing & dancing, just a couple of sentences strung together with some pics & if you don't know how to get pics on here just ask the ? but I need my fix of trip reports >:D >:D >:D
And the wide array of advice given which gives me so many options when deciding what to do about something

x 3 I am a member of another well known camper forum and find that I am bombarded with righteous crap when I ask simple questions. I once asked a question about my Glind shower and was blasted because I might have used shampoo which is bad for the environment apparently...............GRRRRRR.
In my short time here I have found the people helpful and constructive without the crap that goes on else where.
Regards
Jas

What do I like best about MySwag? Simple. Some of the people here are as looney as I am. ;D
-
The amount of money I have saved picking up ideas from people who have it done it before me

Just read that thread - wow!
-
the fact work hasn't "fun policed" the web address!
Hi,
they can't do that, it is required reading for post vocational training.
cheers
-
The fact that I've spent 7days, 14hrs & 26mins on this site and have loved 7days, 14hrs & 26mins of that time. Value for money (and this site has saved me a mint) value in time spent with like minded, happy, knowledgeable & helpfull people and of course Speewa!
-
.......all of the above...........
I also like the fact that you just never know what topic will get a run next..........and what the responses will be...... ;D ??? >:D :cup: ...... :D
-
For me it's the ideas, designs, friendly banter, advice, expert knowledge, trip reports, great friends I have met, etc. That is why I organise the Cape Trips.
Mark
-
The near unlimited wealth of knowledge out there that is to be tapped and will arrive with tips and friendly greetings. No one rants on except for in the specific thread, and you are not made to feel an idiot/amateur when you need help. The absolute best bits are the trip reports and of course the pictures of CT's, mods, trips etc.

Meeting new people with a common interest

When somebody asks a silly question ??? how are we supposed to know if its silly or not ???
If you dont know ask if you dont ask that would be silly , wouldnt it
& on the subject of MySwag its like coming home to family :cup:
-
Dearest hutchie62 ... MsTree here ... no time to sign into my own account ..
YOU TRY LIVING WITH IT !!!

At the National meet I looked around and saw people of all ages, with all types of camping trailers from top of the line to basic, on and offroad, our home built and others who just camped in a tent. No one cared or made distinctions, all were welcome and had a great time. My Swag is more than a camper trailer forum it's perhaps a lifestyle or maybe an attitude, not sure ................but it it's great.

The fact if you are having a bad day then you can offload it here & for sure someone is having a worse day than you (Matto). It's reassuring that some people do give a damn.
Also if you are having a good day then people will rejoice with you. I'm looking forward to that day with engine mishaps clouding the recent horizon and getting the mighty GQ back on the road.

The fact that I spend too much time on this site when I should actually be working. Damn you "Myswag" for being so inconsiderate.
Honestly, I love seeing the joy of people showing off their toys.

What I like about Myswag is summed up nicely in this thread, no need to say more.

Things I like:
The people that i have "met"
The money I have saved due to bulk buys (solar - thanks again Mandrake!! - see #1) and people posting up what they bought where for what and why.
Reading trip reports and planning my next adventure
Things I dont like,
The money i've spent because i've read something on here and thought.. .oh yeah, i need one of them... (thanks again Mandrake!)
The hours i have spent reading and getting depressed on the trip reports and planning for trips that will happen "one day"
-
Meeting nice like minded people.
Reading trip reports and figuring out where to go next.
Working out how stuff works best from the wealth of knowledge on the site and if there's any tricks or traps for the unwary
cheers

The attitude of people on here.
Everyone is helpful and ready for a laugh.
Such a diverse range of ages too.
