Title: Mag Subscription ... where's the mag?
Post by: Kit_e_kat9 on October 19, 2011, 05:42:47 PM

Hi,

Issue 26 of CTT mag is 12 days late.   :'(

I rang the subscription phone number to told that it's Aus Posts fault.  Rang Aus Post to be told that's codswallop.  Rang mag subscription people to be told no it isn't codswallop ... something about their delivery people putting the mags in wire cages and distributing them ... having some issue ... and they probably aren't even at Aus Post yet.  Call us again on Friday if you still don't have it.

Sounds like massive codswallop to me.  Alas, I only get 1 day per fortnight to collect as they won't bend the bloody thing and shove it in my PO Box.  Looks like I now have to wait another 2 weeks to collect it.   >:(

Any one got theirs yet?  I'm totally over these subscription mobs being a law unto themselves.  Money saving convenience My Butt Cheeks.

Thanks.  Thought it was a far too convenient story to be true.

Looking forward to reading it!  Eventually.

Can any others close to me supply me with further ammunition?

yep mine arrived about 10 days ago here in Wodonga. Good read about the "readers interview". Having done it myself it seems strange reading about yourself eh?

I have been chasing this up - including that deal you tried to sign up for. The shortest answer is that no, you shouldn't get CTA ages before newsagents do.

I make up for that by including all extra stuff, like DVDs, maps, etc with subscriber copies. You'd be surprised how many mags don't, and it's one thing that CTA is willing to stand behind. Subs are a way to save money and to save yourself going to the store and finding out the latest issue is already sold out.

Sorry for all the BS - we're trying to fix it.

All good Carlisle.  Not your Mag sweetie.

I did chat with your subscription mob through September and we have come to an agreement.

Worry no more.
