So how everyone's night?
We drove up to Coffs Harbour last night (got here at midnight) and had a great day bike riding and swimming with the kids. Now I am in my camper, kids in bed, listening to the rain on the canvas, and checking out Myswag.
I know, I know, :worthles: pics to come later.

Kids are watching Nanny McPhee, we just came back from a farewell BBQ at a mates place and now we are enjoying whats left of our last Saturday night in the house we have lived in for the past 21 years. Tomorrow is our last day in the house, we will be in a hotel room as of Monday till we leave on Friday.

Wow Mav, who would have thought you'd ever leave Alice. Look forward to catching up with you in CBR in December.

Watching telly and on myswag looking at ideas to finalise my swing out kitchen, hopefully finish it off tomorrow.

Well packed the car today ready for tomorrow and the week to come.
No I am not going camping but am going to camp.
From tomorrow til Friday I will be running a camp at Lake Tyers (Near Lakes Entrance) for 66 children aged from 9 to 18. Add the leaders and cooks and there is about 95 all up.
Should be a good week.
As for now we are watching a doco on Pearl Harbor.
Have a good week all and I hope I survive camp again this year.
Regards

Wouldn't mind pics if you can mate, that's my next major build. Got a few ideas, but just going over everyone else's on here :)
Planning a start in a (hopefully) fortnight.

Yes mate it came as a surprise for us too. I first moved to Alice in 1976, joined the Navy from here on the 8th of Jan 1979. I guess you could say I have had a pretty long association with Alice and the Red Centre.

Mixed feelings?
Yes lots of them but I think we are making the best decision for our kids futures and ourselves too.

Wouldn't have been real keen to have been in a tent in bonny hills or port macquarie last night....We had a lighting storm the likes I havent seen since I left living in kakadu,it was constant and some great wing gusts. The flash from the lightning and thunder almost together is great.I'm always amazed how the kids can sleep through it
