G'day folks, my name's Rob and I work with the team at Camper Trailer Touring magazine. The guys have asked me to throw this up here to let you all know about the camper trailer muster they're putting on.
Have a read and if you're interested get in touch with Chris our Travel Editor (his email is listed below).
Thanks everyone.
Now is your chance to join the Camper Trailer Touring Team on a weekend away.
If you love camper trailers and want to spend a weekend away with other families that love it just as much then pack the family together and join us for 3 days of canoeing, fishing, swimming, rope swinging and 4WDing.
This Camper Trailer Muster will be held at Shallow Crossing down on the NSW South Coast near Bateman’s Bay. It’s a private facility with great amenities including hot showers, toilets, picnic facilities and wood fire bbq’s. Starting on Friday 21st October, we’ll have plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained until Sunday 23rd October.
We’re looking for a number of lucky camper trailer enthusiasts to join us at Shallow Crossing with all types of 4WDs and campers.
As places are limited and it’s first in best dressed, apply now to avoid disappointment. We currently have plenty of families coming from everywhere including Coffs, Canberra, even Melbourne.
To apply, email the Travel Editor, Chris Polglase at cpolglase@expresspublications.com.au and attach some details about your family, 4WD, trailer and your travel plans. Successful applicants will be notified by email.
For more information on Shallow Crossing, look back through Camper Trailer Touring Issue 20 where it was featured.
As this event will be covered by the magazine, we need you to be available for the whole three days, giving us enough time for everyone to meet each other and share plenty of travel yarns.
If you love getting out and about in your camper trailer, don’t hesitate, apply now!

Looks awesome....when are you doing one in W.A?

Does all the travel need to be on Thursday 20th and Monday the 24th. What time are people expected to be there on the Friday and what time will the activities be finished on the Sunday?
Will the campers need to be packed up and set up on numerous occasions during the weekend, or will it be like any normal camping weekend away, with one set-up and one pack up?
Are there camping fees involved at this location?

Hey guys,
I would suggest putting any questions you may have on the weekend to Chris as he has all the information at hand.
Cheers,

Just a thought...
Since your 'part of the team' or in the office with them, lean over and ask for some info for people. Would be easier than 700 members of the forum calling up asking the exact same questions wouldnt it?
or quicky email this link to Chris for everyone -> http://myswag.org/forum/index.php?topic=16319.0

Well most of us are in and out of the office all day working on various articles. So more often than not it isn't as easy as just leaning over and asking, because they're probably not there.
Anyway to answer Gunna Do's questions...
Does all the travel need to be on Thursday 20th and Monday the 24th?
Not necessarily, it can easily work as normal 3 day weekend away
What time are people expected to be there on the Friday and what time will the activities be finished on the Sunday?
As early as people can get there on Friday the better, but if everyone is there around lunch time (12-2pm) that would be fine as well. All activities will be completed by the late afternoon on Sunday (around 3-4pm). If you need to leave a little earlier due to longer travelling distances let us know and we will try and sort something out. In regards to activities, if you have canoes or kayaks don’t hesitate to bring them. Throw in the fishing rods too because the river is fantastic. Actual itinerary will be supplied to successful families closer to the date.
Will the campers need to be packed up and set up on numerous occasions during the weekend, or will it be like any normal camping weekend away, with one set-up and one pack up?
It will be like any normal camping weekend. You will set up the camper on Friday, alongside the banks of the river and leave it there until Sunday when everyone leaves.
Are there camping fees involved at this location?
There will be minor camping fees involved, we are still working out the exact prices with Jim depending on how many families we decide on. It will be no more than $10 per adult.
