Title: Landcruiser Forum
Post by: POD on September 13, 2011, 09:15:09 PM
Well, I'm CONSIDERING, in the longer term, a step over to the dark side of Landcruiser ownership. At the moment, tending towards a 105 or 200 series turbo deisel.

My question, Landcruiser Bretheren: What is the forum you use? Have tried googling and it sort of pushed me towards the Owners Club forum. Not that I'm against it but just checking where you "Cruisin' Dudes" hang.

Cheers,

POD.

Oh, if this is in the wrong section, please feel free to "re-locate" it.

105 or 200. They're significantly different vehicles, in age, price, comfort and a host of other areas.

Problem with those forums is that you can't read anything if you are not a member.

I am tossing up between a ZD30 or a HDJ100.
The TD42 would be great as well, however I need an automatic which are not available in TD42.

Just join the forum, its free. Reason for joining is to keep the trolls out - makes a much better forum for a vehicle specific site IMHO.

I joined 80scool mid 1999 and 6 months later I bought a 1991 HDJ80 Turbo Diesel and that forum was so helpful in helping me choose the right 80 for me...  I still have the old girl and don't ever see a future without it....    You are definitely looking at a premium vechicle,  :) you will be very happy...

For a bit of useless info...
80scool (80 Series Cruiser Owners On Line) started in mid 90's only catered for 80 series LC's and when the 100 was born and got more popular with 80 owners upgrading to them 80scool had a name and forum change to LCOOL (Land Cruiser Owners On Line) and now caters for all LC's and Au States not just world wide...

Might do.
Problem is, one more forum to read. :-)
And I am still not sure which one to buy.

On the application you have to fill in the series and age of the Cruiser you own.
What if you don't own one?

Perhaps put down buying soon/ researching. I can't remember if I put that or the wife's Prado.

put in the one you want.
LcooL has a big archive of info to pore over. It will keep you occupied for days
As for choice between ZD30 patrol and 1HDFTE Cruiser....one of these ticks like a clock and the other like incendiary device waiting to tock!

You have to fill in model and year, can't see: not yet.

Roo, I want a Landcruiser and saw one for sale in Perth, with all the fruit for $45,000, ough.
