Probably after 6.00pm it would be. Anything goes in that area. They block off the road and the place comes alive!

I drank at a lot of pubs in that street that is blocked off but I don't remember that one.  There was a little bar next to the Aussie Bar that I frequented a lot (something to do with the quality of the girls serving the beers).  Oh well, fond memories.

It was right near the end of Bangalo road. not the beach end! Went to the Aussie Bar as a Bloke from Mandurah now owns it and we dropped in for a few beers over the time we were there. Mate, for us it was the people that made the biggest impression. A lot of fond memories and a couple of new friends made also.

Yes, Madcow, that's the one - Bangalo Road.  How could I forget it, but I did.  Anyway, you are right, we also met a lot of good people there and the memories will be with us forever.  Wasn't it good to get a meal of lamb chops and mashed potato at the Aussie Bar?

I am going back again next year, probably about May - after that stupid Songkran thing.

Cheers Mate

Yeh great spot. We had on one night 270mm of rain. Putting most of the road in about 3 feet of water. It was hilarious! who needs a fourby. when i get the pics sorted I'll post a couple of it in flood.

Great stuff Madcow!!  If I could post some photos myself, I could show you that street when it was dry.  By the way, did you see the blokes delivering the bags of ice?  Bugger me, 10 bags on his shoulder.  I have a couple of that bloke.

Cheers

Graham
