I love it when they put fictional RRP's on them.

judging by the feedback on how many things turn up damaged etc, I'd look for a used Wako.

Personally I would go with a known brand, Waeco/Engel e.t.c.P

Ill offer another point of view!

The seller has over 14000 feedback, only 1 of them is for a problem with the fridge. Personally I think their feedback of 99.5% over 14000+ sales is quite good. Id deal with them.

Cant offer any help on the fridge. Except to say I have had a really good run with Chinese products, but thats not to say that one day Ill be unlucky enough to get a dud product.

I use a large weaco, it cost me $1600 and I am very happy with it.

I also use a $200 3 way chinese fridge which ive had for years and Im also very happy with it.

I've looked at the specs and if they are true and are correct, then it could be a good investment ;D

It all looks good in the photo's and the article, however I Googled it and found some (what I thought was very good) information that I was going to paste here >:D

Unfortunately when I did paste it, I had to realign all the text, this indicates to me it has previously been copied from somewhere else and therefore is not the words of the guy who has claimed to own the fridge at all  >:(

I love to save money, but some things I just don't scrimp on, and one of those is my fridge.

I am an Engel Man through and through. I laughed at me mate when he bought that exact one of evilbay but he has taken it on a cape trip we did this year and it went excellent the only thing that's not real flash on it is the power consumption is huge compeared to my engel in the same size as well as the latches are s#&t and didn't pull down on the lid hard enough. But time will tell and i am interested to see if it will keep up with my Engels ha ha.

cheers Mondo

We have had a Primus Series III fridge/freezer for almost a year now and it is a little beauty. Very good on the power consumption as well as giving you the battery voltage and cabin temp readout. The added bonus is the wireless display that you plug into the cigarette socket to keep you updated while you're driving. It even highlighted to me that I had a dicky connection with my merit plug as the display was intermittently dropping out. At the same price or better than a Waeco, depending on where you get it, you can't go wrong. My BIL has a 50l Waeco and I reckon the Primus is a much better unit IMHO. It has a proper fridge seal rather than a thin strip of rubber so helps with the efficiency of the unit.

Spend a few more dollars and get yourself a unit that will last and isn't going to let you down and spoil a great trip
