Will be there at some stage over the weekend
-
Friday for me, need a few things from hillbilly camp gear stand and didn't get to the 4wd show ( well I did but seeing all the cars in the parking lot I drove out and didn't stay!)

We are going Saturday as well, give you a call when we get there
-

eBay, heaps cheaper.
-
ordering it through work is even cheaper ;D
but i guess ebay (a province in China?) will win out in the end
-
Don't forget on Ebay you won't get to see our smiling faces (JT & Me) see everyone at Penrith
John Connor (Camper Tragic) ;D ;D ;D

If you're after Rhino Rack here's cheaper than any show...
-
Had planned on going.
Missus arranged the time off so we'd make it a long w/end trip...trouble is, some richard cranium (I won't say me) gave her the wrong date, & we went to sydiney last w/end ::) ;D
-
hey, if getting it from work is cheaper than ebay i'd be doing that
-

it is Rhino, got the tracks just need the bars now........
-
Work out what you need from the Rhino Rack website, give me a shout and be surprised at the discount (which I can't mention on public forums).
-
Whoops sorry!
-
Guys, that is what PMs are for.
This thread is about the Penrith Camping Show.
-
Newbie mistake there, took that out.......
-
Another Saturday out at another show!! :cup:
-
going to try to get there Friday after lunch but if not then Saturday.
-
Well I got there this arvo and managed to dodge the rain ;D
Dropped into the Trackabout site and caught up with JC and JT and another gent whose name I have forgotten :-[ :-[
Dropped some cash on some Hillybilly gear on the way out that I should have picked up at Eastern Creek the other week.
-
Heading there tomorrow, is it worth getting there early to avoid traffic, or is it fairly easy on parking etc?
-
Was their today at 10.00am in the rain for a few hours. The amount of people their at 10.00am on a week day with rain was Shit loads.
Sat and Sun will be chockers mate, no matter what time.
-
Will take the 4by just in case we have to park on the grass. After the rain it will be muddy. ;D
-
Great call, I've not had the jeep in 4wd drive mode yet.....fingers crossed as it could do with some dirt :)
-
Was there today from about 11 till 2 not bad considering yesterday's rain. With patience you could see everything you wanted. Parking was harder.
-
It was busy today, parking is easier to get early or late, but come between 10am-2pm and you'll struggle.
We had a look around, not a bad turn out, large range of campers, lots of low end imported stuff from the look of them. I called into the Trackabout stand for a chat and they were so busy I lent a hand for an hour or two.
-
Was almost a Swag meet ;D caught up with
Snow
BigJules
CRW
Silvo
JT, yep he was flat out every time we went past.
Met with bussoboy
-
Was out there from 9am to 1pm. Parking was great at 9. Caught up with CRW & Withy
-
Have to say, really enjoyed walking the Penrith show today. Our first ever! Great to look at the campers and we really liked the Lifestyle extenda camper.
Made a few purchases, rhino roof rack, hillbilly stuff, books, fishing lures :)
May pop back tomorrow for a close look at lifestyle....out of my initial shortlist I'm liking this one. Cost, functionality. My only worry is the weight and will my jeep be able to tow it through soft sand....
-
had a quick look around today.........had to take my purchase home & fit it --------- thanks Bushman, they fit a treat
Will have a much more in depth look on Sunday

:P got quote from CFR dealt with them before, also got one from Barnes who had the gas and diesel version set up and running, gas is the way to go for our arrangment, so something to think about.
-
Went there yesterday to check out Jimbooma Campers, but couldn't find them though they were going to be there.
-
I was hoping to see Jimboomba also, but they told me they couldnt get a site.
