Title: Pick up Tomorrow
Post by: Stylemaster70 on August 18, 2011, 11:05:09 AM
Hi All! I get my first offroad camper tomorrow and I'm popping. Going to be hard not to go away this weekend although I have no idea how to set it up. Should be fun.
Its a new TEMPEST extreme offroad. They are a newish company down in Hastings who do  quality campers. Trailers made on site. Aussie canvas tent. Independent suspension, 360deg. coupling, electric brakes, powder coated body. Pull out basic kitchen. ARK power pack and battery, anderson plug etc. Huge front box, super deep trailer with access doors etc. 75x50mm draw bar thing! Full stone gaurd. King size spring mattress.....blah blah. Oh also 5YEAR warrenty on the trailer and 12mnths on the tent! Will post some pics if I get it up.......of the tent!

Already dreaming of options.....just thought we would go basic and add as needed.

I guess I should have intoduced myself and not just our camper. We are from the Mornington Peninsula. Surfing is our thing but want to get to the country more....when there is no surf of course! Got the camper to spend more time with my wife and daughter. Shes 7 and growing up fast. Found this web site when I was researching GIC campers. Great info on here and really love the site. Only joined yesterday but have been watching from afar!

G'day & Welcome.

How is the new camper going? I had a look at that link, interesting beastie, some good features, some that have bee shown to be less favourable. It seemed well constructed, which is important.
