I have a couple of spare mud terrain tyres the same size and pattern that's on my vehicle. Any issues with putting them on an offroad caravan? Probably unnecessary, but they're spare so I was thinking I might as well put then on.

It's a good idea to have the vehicle tyres and the trailer tyres interchangeable.
You never know when you will need to swap them to get you out of trouble especially In remote areas.

Doesn't matter what the pattern of tyre is, having the same rolling diameter is more important I think.

I agree that size is probably the most important criteria, and if you already have them by all means use them.
If I was buying new I wouldn't choose a muddy as they seem to throw up larger gibbers than A/Ts causing increased damage underbody, and as the van wheels aren't drive wheels they offer no better traction, although they do look good. :cup:
