G'day all, The Missus and I are based out on the Great Central Rd between Laverton and Warburton, and have just started looking at camper trailers.
After sifting through the minefield of info out there, we are leaning mostly towards a Trackabout Safari. (depending how good the quote is ;D )
Seriously though, after trolling through dozens of websites, and sifting through the info, and sorting the good from the bad.. it came down to a couple, but the standard features available on the Trackabout, for the money, have it out in front.
Any extra info you mob can add would be great.
Cheers

G'day & Welcome.
Good luck with your choice of camper, you wouldn't go wrong with a Trackabout.
-
Welcome.
x2 on not going wrong with Trackabout.
My only suggestion would be also to look local incase of problems down the track. Might make it a touch easier.
-
+1 or X3.. i think a trackabout has great service supporting a well known product.
-
G'day there and welcome to the site.
You probably get the best chance to check out the performance of the different campers as they come thru on the track, than most of us.
Cheers Mike

Thanks for the welcome all ;D
Manjimike, yeah, we get to see different trailers everyday which is pretty handy. And it's quite the sight everytime one pulls in here and i dash out to have a look over it to check out the build, and see how it's handling the road out here .. lol

Thanks all for the welcome.
And yes, Squirell the headaches already started. :D
Ranging from companys that list "Features" which you soon find out aren't features, but optional extras.. to Companies that don't return emails and refuse to part with thier precious pricing and inclusion lists.. (I don't know how they expect me to buy something if i don't even know how much money to give them) to websites that go nowhere >:( ;D .. oh well. We did find those with good service and info though, and among those are the WA Trackabout dealer, who has been very helpful, and gave excellent info, and a WA Johnnys dealer, who even rang on a Sunday with pricing  Also Travelander were a good help, but we since went off them... Definately keep going back to the Trackabout so far, and it seems plenty here will back that feeling up.
Cheers

The Nurse (aka Tammy the WA Trackabout dealer) will look after you.

Welcome, Tjuka. I get the thing about the price list. Looking at some gear at the moment, and this mob will only tell you a postage rate after the order is confirmed. Bit late then to shop around eh?
-
Welcome to the forum, have you seen Tambo trailers. They are very well built and have 3 models to choose from, also they all have upgrades as do most out there to keep the wallet drained.

Welcome to MySwag!
Thank you for the positive feedback in your earlier post!
The research into camper trailers can be very confusing and painful, so check out the search function on this forum and type in the names of the trailer manufacturers that you like. You'll find honest (and sometimes biased) comments from real owners and admirers!
