I've spent the last two mornings out on the drive way fiddling with the Cruiser and other jobs. The front of my house faces south, if it was any deeper south there'd be Cajun's stealing my tools, so it hasn't seen the sun since March or April.
I took this at 9am.

Don't think for a minute that Mother Nature is just treating you special Jules. We've had the worst week up in the valley, with strong winds, and very very low overnight and daytime temps.
Was going to go camping tomorrow night, but looks like it will have to be a daytrip of some kind in the local area.
-
was -2.5 at our place this morn .....

cheers chippy :D

are yes this morning I choose was the right morning to wash my hilux after not washing it for 4 months ???
-
I went out kayaking today, 30 knot WNW winds and a white water jacket - my face is still burning.
It took me 1.5 hours to paddle 2km facing the 'storm' and 15 mintes to paddle the 2km home. ;D It didn't get above 14 here all day!
-
We still had frost on the lawn that was in the shade at 9:00am

I won't tell you what it the temp was here this morning, but it did not get above 0 and with the wind and snow it has been cold

1.5 at 0700 and ice on the windscreen at 0900; never seen ice in the 11 years of living here. Too many reminders of blighty ;D
-
And I'm having a weekend in Canberra. Here makes Sydney look tropical.
-
It is going to be cold in Adelaide all week :'(
When is all this global warming going to happen - isn't that what we are having a cabon tax for?
-
Funny how Global Warming doesn't rate a mention in the colder months, but is mentioned every second day in Summer. ;D

;D
No - there is a new tax for the sake of introducing a new tax. The justification for it is this so called global warming - although 99.9% agree that this new tax will do nothing in stopping global warming.
I just brought it up, not to be political, but rather just as an observation.
-
6 degrees on my front verandah this morning. Just checked current temp in Cairns was 23.4 with top around 25 today low temp 18 what the ##### are doing here

Hi,
while camped at Alice Springs years ago, it was so cold in the morning, the petrol I used to start a quick fire burnt more like kerosene than petrol.
cheers
-
It was about 10am that morning before the tap and water lines defrosted enough to let water through again. -5 degrees was minimum temp overnight.

I've certainly been cold before, and we've had many colder mornings at our place in Kellyville, where the temperature ranges from -5-45 degrees. It has been quite mild since weekend.
