Hey all
New to camping and just bought a
Second hand camper. Love it a lot
But put it up for the second time and the
Peg hole near the door won't lie flat like the other
Side.
So have I put it up wrong??
Thanks
Matt

Nope but it also make the door hard to do up
As the peg hole is about 25 cm off the ground

Hi Matt
Welcome to My Swag Happy Trails with your Camper

G'day Matt and welcome to MYSWAG.
It might check to have a look at how level the ground is, if there are any really uneven bits. If your trailer is a bit too high compared to the canvas it may cause the drama, Good luck!
Cheers,
Disco.

Welcome to you Matt MySwag awaits you so dip in where you want . Theres lots of fun banter , Enjoy

Without seeing photos and assuming you have a soft floor, my first guess is may have the outside walls pegged too tight , this could be putting added pressure and the canvas making the door hard to zip closed

25cm is a big discrepancy - more than just a bit of a slope or wrong wheels fitted. My guess would be the tent and trailer weren't a matched pair to begin with. Unless you've got a lot of clearance under the guards to play with, that could be tricky to fix.
We'll see what the gurus come up with! 8)
Good luck,

Cool thanks
I'll look at that when the rain stops
Also what size should my tires be as I'm
Look at putting a set of 29 or 30 in muddys

See my thread on tyre issues in the tech forum.
Ideally you want to match wheel/tyre size to your tow vehicle, to give redundancy in spares. Also same track width is ideal, but you're pretty much stuck with what you have now anyway.
In practice, guard clearance was an issue for me going to same tyres as the 4wd, plus risk of causing your too-high tent problem, so sometimes you have to compromise. Just remember if you pick a tyre with a diameter any bigger than the current ones, your tent problem will be even worse.
I use this: (hope no one minds the link!) http://www.exploroz.com/Vehicle/Tyres/SizeCalc.aspx

Welcome to the forum Matt are the main poles inside the tent bed area adjustable ones as maybe one is just to far out on one side?

G'day Matt and welcome

G'day & Welcome Matt.
I think PACS has hit the nail on the head, perhaps you've over extended the internal poles. Peg the base first, then erect the tent.
