I have been watching the Le Mans all arvo and am blown away, have known about the diesel Audi's winning this event for a while now but the pace these Peugeot's and the one Audi, that"s left, is unbealivable. They are passing the GT cars like the Porsches, Corvettes and Aston Martins like they are standing still. Did a bit of Googling and the diesel vehicles had to down size this year from a 5.5 litre motor to a 3.7 litre and they are V6's and only one turbo and have a top speed of 240 mph.
I know they use that racing car body, but so do the petrol vehicles as well. Just amazing.

Did you see the Audi stack?

Yep, how was no one seriously hurt, bloody hell.

Yeah, I thought they were required to have the wheels tethered after the marshall in the F1 was killed by a flying wheel?
-
I have been Googling to see if I cn find out how much power they have but can not find any thing, anyone know?
-
wasnt there two Audi stacks, one during the night...both disintergrated...I might be wrong
I liked the passing move of the Audi not long ago, around the outside off the track to pass two cars...these blokes are nuts. Awesome stuff

That Audi might not win the race but it took out the record for land speed parking . Then he walked away , only he & his dry cleaner will know the real result
