I have Hercules on the back & Maxxis on the steer . If you cant find a cost efficient tyre for your rim size then change the rims . That will open up a bigger range to choose from .

I think Lost has them, they look close to a tractor tyre to me so side slope grip might be an issue.

Craig,
I had the Silverstone AT 117s in 31 x 10.5 R15 on my NJ Pajero. Ran with these on for over 18 months and about 40000km without an issue. They were fairly quiet on road and handled OK in the wet on the tarmac. Offroad I had no issues and handled sand and beach work no worries, I have a dislike for mud and try to avoid it when I can so can't comment on what they were like in bog holes but they handled wet dirt roads out west OK. They wore fairly well with a little over half the tread left when I got rid of the Paj.
The only issue I had with them was that they were a pain to balance and every time I rotated them (every 10000ks) I had to take it the tyre shop to have them re-balanced.

Thats pretty much sums it up well from my experiences.
