Nothing wrong with batteries in the front boot so long as you don't have gas bottles in there and they are secured.

Hey love! Thats a 2002 Jayco Hawk not a 92!!! Please help him with his battery idea as he has downed tools until... ???

Still no difference when fitting batteries to the boot, as long as there is no gas bottle in there. If there is you will need to relocate the gas to in front of the box on the drawbar in a ring.
You also need to assess what is curently in your Jayco 12 volt wise and what you plan on using the batteries for and how you are going to charge them.
