Hi All
I am wanting to know what is the difference between the 2007 KK Classic and 2007 KK Limited Edition. The storage boxes on the front is one (standard box and Gullwing) but I can't seem to see any other differences - Can anyone help.

if you don't get a definitive answer, then maybe give SEQ Campers a ring and ask them as they are the local KK agent, or maybe even email KK HQ themselves.
cheers

My understanding is that it is mainly the stuff on the draw bar. The tent/trailer part and chassis are identical. The classic has less on the draw bar which keeps the weight down so it can be towed with a smaller vehicle.
The main difference is the storage and fridge arrangments, the classic doesn't have the gull wing storage, with the fridge slide or options for outboard motor slide, genny storage etc etc. The slide out sink part of the kitchen is identical to my knowledge on both LE and Classic.
I have a 2005 LE with the Gull wing setup. It comes down to personal preference and $$$, the more options the more expensive for sure.
You can buy mine of you like ;D

Have you checked out the KK website and compared the specs of the two ??
You may find there are more differences than you think !!
-
Thanks
The KK website is pretty good and have spent some time running over it. I think it is just the draw bar setup features that is the difference.
Jason B - I am i the market and ready to buy if you have an option let me know - I have sent a PM
Thanks again

If I compare my Limited to the standard SportsRV it might be the amount of batteries, the size of the watertank what is the difference.

In the 2007 models ( this is from memory , as the latest brochures will show completely different options ) the LE came with extended tent ( was standard late 2007 ), the gullwing front box, disc brakes ( as opposed to electric ), 140 a/h batts ( 70 a/h ), underbed stainless draw, fox shocks, anderson plug for seperate batt charging, extra 12V socket on the drivers side(external ), led strip light attached to top of tent ( inside ), plus there could be a couple of others that I forgot..
But as not many came from the factory bog standard, if looking at a used one , it could have no options or it could have any number of them, so unless you know exactly what you are looking at, it can be deceptive !!

Thanks Gronk - just tossing up whether to chase a LE in Adelaide or buy a classic in Brisbane (I live in Brisbane) both at 25K.

Thanks Gronk - just tossing up whether to chase a LE in Adelaide or buy a classic in Brisbane (I live in Brisbane) both at 25K.
I have a 2007 LE and I wouldn't part with it for less than $33,000..
For $25,000, I'd be having a very close look at it ( personally ) as it sounds VERY cheap !!

Like wise mate my 2005 LE is worth 30K +. With all the options form the factory, extra water, jerry can holders boat loader, 210 amps of batteries and a 40 amp charger etc. I would expect to pay about $35k for a 2007 LE with some options.

Yeah - I'm really struggling with it - might mean a flight to adelaide for the day - its a standard LE with kids annex. The classic I'm looking at has the extended annex pack - I have seen it and is in very good condition. Would the LE a significantly better buy? Is the gullwing set up worth chasing it in adelaide from Brisbane?
-
Hell if I can make 8k on it I might fly to Adelaide to have a look at it.
Is there a swagger in Adelaide who might be able to help by checking it out first?

Mate it is all personal preference. But I just went through this mine is a 2005 non extended tent, I have 2 kids and am rapt in it. The Gull wing storage package, with the fridge slide, pantry, stove, boat motor storage, spot for the Genny, poles etc etc sold me. The other set up simply didn't have enough storage for my needs. The trailer chassis etc are pretty much Identical. I think the LE will have more water and batteries, which cost to up grade.
They are both great units and you just need to realistically assess what your needs are for storage etc.

Thanks boys - it would be preferable if I could make it happen - thanks for the feedback - great to hear your thoughts. The price is great and from the photos I have it looks fine without much use.

don't think the swag ever goes into retirement - just gets a little more dusty.
