Hey look what I found, a new model ARB compressor, just released, is someone able to provide any feedback on this baby..
-
It is huge, stick to the CKMP12
-
Look more like binoculars.
-
Hmmm, 2 motors & 1 compressor, or 2 compressors and 1 motor?
-
It's basically 2 compressors piggy backed for major air supply, either for rapid tyre inflation of for a farmer or builder/ offroader etc wanting some portable compact air supply for tools in remote places.
-
Awesome this would be a beast, wonder how many zillions it will be?

Ouch! I am going to finally mount my compressor on board and thought I would get a decent one if I was going to the trouble of installing it.
-
Upgrade!
-
SO has anyone tried one of these yet?
-
Yes I have mounted under the drivers seat. The CKMP12 has been good when I have used it. Haveing said that thoughI have only used 4 or 5 times. Fast tyre inflation on car and on push bike. Can't remember how long the car took but the push bike no more than 5 sec.
Cheers Rod....

Wow on a bike it would go to 100psi in a few seconds.
I have been using two of the ARB CKMA12 one mounted under the bonet for air lockers and one in the back quarter pannel of my Patrol for airbag springs and tyre inflation. I find that with both going at once it is quite good but could do with a bit more air when I have been on the beach with a boat trailer and have to inflate 6 tyres at once it is a bit slow.
I am tossing up whether to get one of these new twin compressors or just add another (third) single compressor.

around $550
i got quoted around $790 from ARB fro this i was looking at it a couple of week ago.
this is what i like it is a warn one and i can get it shipped from the states to my door for about $200 less, and if you check out the figures it performs a hell of a lot better than the arb one, from memory the arb is good for about 4.5 cfm at 25psi this baby is good for 8 cfm at 90 psi
cheers

Wahoo looks good but the down side would be the size.
I used to cart one of my SCUBA tanks around for really quick tyre inflation, but the down side was it would only do about 15 tyres before needing a fill up. So was great for short trips to the beach but not for extended camping 4x4 trips.
The onboard ARB compressor is just there all the time where ever I go. Not all that fast but it is convenient.
I hope your Warn compressor is not too big to be practicle.

Hey guys
I have one mounted in the back my 08 GU patrol wagon. I fabricated a bracket and mounted it where the 3rd row seats bolt in. I then went to enzed and spent $100 to have a new hose made to run from the compressor to the air locker manifold which is mounted in the factory jack location.

Nice install Russ! Love the pockets for hose storage as part of the mounting bracket.
Happy with the performance of the big twin?
Thanks!
Matto :)

$790 is book price for the portable twin system mounted in a tackle box with air tank. Just the twin compressor kit by itself is cheaper
-
They look the goods, double the volume, double the weight, double the price.
-
i bought one today my cheapy i was using let me down again the other day so i splashed out on the portable, i have given it a quick go at airing up my daily drivers tyres and it was pretty impressive, when i get back up north i will put it to test on the cruiser, but at this stage it looks the goods
-
just inflated my cruiser tyres from 18psi to 40psi in about 7 1/2 minutes which beats the hell out of my old one
