G'day all,
Could someone on here set up a poll for opinions on the best camper trailer out there? I know it's not that hard to set one up, but i don't know many brands of camper out there
Cheers

I think it would be very hard to set up as everyones needs (and budgets) are different

Some like soft floors, some like hard floors, some like the kitchen a certain way, some like the bed a certain way, some like the walk up bed design, some like moon roofs, some don't require an off road model - everyone is different therefore our camper requirements are different. Part of the joy of camper trailering is going out there and seeing what everyone elses set up is, and when you are ready to buy doing the hours and hours of research that is available such as on a forum like this one.

I don't have a trailer poll but you can borrow my tent poll.
-
Quite simply the best camper trailer is the one that gets you out camping

Totally agree, this is the closest you will get to an honest answer to what members own.
Also agree to whatever gets you and yours out there!

+1.
+1 what JKohn said as well.
If you're after some suggestions for brands and manufacturers that you've possibly not come across yet, how about posting up a bit of a list of what you want in your camper or how you're going to use it and your rough budget? It won't be long before you've got a thousand recommendations based on what satisfied members have! People here are pretty honest, even about their own gear, so I think you'd get some good leads.
Good luck!

(OBVIOUSLY a Trackabout is the best camper, I was assuming that since EVERYONE knows that, the question was really "what's the second-best camper?"!!! ;D ::) ;D . I'll get my coat now...)
-
Most of this forum is dedicated to helping you pick a camper, just keep reading, you'll get there.
Or, turn up at my house with a big handful of cash and you take tow the best camper away ;D.

Sorry Jules I am a lot closer to the perfect easy set up camper as Fe can do it alone as I sit & consume  & watch . ( you wont tell her I have posted this will you ,,,,,,,,,,,, please ) .
If you want my CT , she is not part of the deal . NO WAY
-
The best CT is the one you can afford, and still have some $ left, so you can take it out and live the dream!

Hi guys,
I wasn't asking for the poll to see what was best for me, it was just a thought to see what everyone thought of them, weather it be what they have and are happy with or their dream camper.
Funnily enough for myself, i don't really have a choice. Like i said in another post, i was selling my cruiser to get a dual cab. Plans have now changed by the look of it, as the cruiser is going due to part sale/part swap. The swap being a Lifestyle off road camper, which we plan to keep. Never heard of one before, but a camper's a camper in my eyes and it saves buying one.
Like i say, the poll idea was just to see what people like

Well, in that case, go for your life! I'd also suggest a "Which is the best 4WD" poll, along with a "V8 Supercars - Holden or Ford are better?" and probably something to do with 12v wiring or solar - all guaranteed to get a thousand replies and make heaps of friends!!! ;D ;D :cup:
On a serious note, you're off to a good start if you're getting a Lifestyle camper - there's a lot of people with them on here, and the feedback is generally very positive. You should have no problems picking up enough modification ideas to last you a long time into the future and soak up whatever $$$s you did have left over!
It was about time for this thread to take a turn - everyone was getting very philosophical and moderate in here!
Thanks!
Matto :)
