Title: Fiamma f45-I locking problem
Post by: Pyro on May 01, 2011, 05:28:02 PM
Evening All,

I have a jayco hawk with a fiamma awning and one end does not seem to lock in properly. One end sits out by about 15mm.
Has any body else had this problem?

Cheers
Pyro

Yes just developed this problem over Easter but only a few mm. Have checked feet of legs and they are not the problem

legs on the feet seem to be set in the same way, it has always been a slight differnce, seems much more now.

If you google Fiamma I think there is info on troubleshooting them. I think I saved this info somewhere for our own F45i awning on our Swan.

Is this happening when you wind it in? if so is it on the middle or on one side?

If it is on the side what you need to do is get a set of pliers and a rag.

When the awning is out, on the side that is not holding, on the bottom lip where the pot rivet is you need to slightly bend it up approx 1.5mm use the pliers

Good luck, let me know if you need any more information.
