Title: Hello ... new members from Edmonton
Post by: Bundy Country on March 18, 2011, 08:56:21 PM
Hi there

New members to the site from Edmonton (just south of Cairns NQ) We have 4 kids aged 11, 9, 8 and 4 who love camping just as much as we do. We have just recently bought a Modcon soft floor which was delivered a couple of days ago so we are yet to take it out for its maiden voyage, we haven't even been able to set it up due to all the rain we've been having lately, but as soon as we do get a chance to set it up and take photos, we'll throw a couple of pics on the site.

Welcome to the land of the wet camper Gary & Maria.  Even tho' I'm a few thousand klms south of you, every time I've had my camper out since I bought it (early Feb) the gods have peed on me.  Still, I have no complaints, well yeah just a couple, I don't get out enough and never for long enough.  Enjoy it - no matter what the conditions!

Regards
Mark

 ;D Welcome neighbours...
Lots to do and see about the place.  I'm trying to organise an Easter trip to Kidston which would be in the School Holidays which you're welcome to join.
I'm actually in Bentley Park which is close.
Have a look around, there's some great info here so enjoy.
Hope to see you around
  Paul

Welcome to Myswag Gary & Maria and congrats on the new camper.
Know what you mean about the rain.   We picked up our new camper 5 weeks ago tomorrow and are still waiting to take it camping!!
At least we have had lots of time playing with it and packing it up. haha    We have both managed to organize some time off next week, so as long as the weather is relatively good, off we go for a few days.

Enjoy your time on the forum.  There are lots of very friendly, helpful members here.
Look forward to meeting some time.
Cheers,
Sharyn  :D
