Title: G'day from Central West NSW
Post by: celibaterifle on March 11, 2011, 06:35:49 PM
Been lurking here for a while, but thought I should introduce myself.

The better half and I have loved travelling around this great country of ours. Have so far done 2 x 3 month trips. One through west Qld, NT and SA, and the other along the coast of WA. Both fantastic and memorable journeys.

We have been wanting to do more trips like this, but like (almost) everyone, finding the time/getting the time off work has been an issue. So we have decided that we are going to pack up the house, rent it out and travel indefinately around Aust, finding work when we need to.

Previously we have always tented it (OzTent), but now that this will be our permenant house for who knows how long, we have decided to move up to a camper. Don't have a trailer yet, but am gathering lots of info of this site on them and decking them out.

If any of you have any tips for surviving (living) out of a camper for a long period of time, post away.

Cheers Jim

Thanks for the welcome.

Scott and Glenyse: Call Orange home at present, but also spend a bit of time at the family property at Trundle. (Sparky who did some work on our house is named Scott Tracey!)

Nice pic Sheeds, looks like fun.
