Title: UHF Antenna Mounting
Post by: Arunda on February 04, 2011, 08:05:53 AM
I saw a car with a fold down UHF Antenna Mounting well looks like it adjusts antenna to 45 degrees towards the windscreen, does anyone know where to get them  ??? it would save me taking the antenna off when we get home after a trip.

I like the way mine bangs on the garage door and roof rafters, it's like a drum roll.

Could you mount it lower or get a shorter one?

Top of my antenna lines up with the top of the rack, it it hits I know the rack is going to make a mess of the carpark services and pipework.

Good point.

I have to take my antenna of before I enter our garage.
It is a lot of noise when it hits the open door. I have it mounted on my spare wheel carrier.

A bloke used to advertise a mount that allowed one to adjust the aerial backwards.

I used to run an AE4705 and needed such a device.
