Thanks Keith. I am actually looking to upgrade to something more heavy duty for off road travel. Found this site when looking into Modcon campers and now having a look at trackabout and a few others that get a regular mention here.

Some great write ups on Swaggers CT's and their mods... enjoy... it doesn't make choosing any easier though just lengthens the list 8)

Thanks for the welcome messages. I currently have an on-road customline camper and just upgraded the 4wd to be able to tow something more heavy duty off road. I am looking for a rear fold, soft floor camper that has a kitchen built in, fridge and battery sytem built in as well. I like the Mod Con camper so any suggestions for similar styles and prices would be good.

Welcome Panther
Good luck working out which camper to buy, it is like buying the 4wd to tow it, everyone has an opinion and a favourite, but in the end the holy dollar is the thing that narrows down the field for most of us.

Hi Panther,
I can highly recommend Modcon. We have the Solution Imperial soft floor rear fold with all the extras. Kitchen, batteries Fridge etc. We are very happy with it. This is the second Modcon camper we have owned. We sold our side fold for something quicker and easier to set up/pack down on a touring type trip.
Ours has the independent suspension and DO35 hitch which helps the trailer tow very smoothly. We took our old camper out west a fair bit, Birdsville, Inna mincka, Flinders Ranges and can't wait to do the same with the new one.
I am happy to share more info if you wish.

Thanks Frenchac.
I was looking at about the 15-20K price bracket so it might be best for me to option up one of the origin models with the bits I want. I should be able to get everything for about that price. I am leaning towards Modcon at the moment but will keep my eye out for other possible contenders, hence joining this site. I may pick your brain when it comes time to put it all into action which probably won't be for 6-12 months though.

G'day & Welcome.
In your price range you should be able to get something very nice.

No worries Panther.
